“3dxChat” Update Beta is running / “The Utherverse” Beta starts soon / “3XO” Character Editor V2 Preview
3XO did announce at the beginning of August 2023 an uptdate of the demo of the character editor. At the discord server you can take a look at more videos of it at the “sneaky peak” section. Watching the video of resizing of female glutes was good fun :) Tbh I am not update if 3XO still sticks to the plan/schedule of releasing this new game and we all are looking foward how the animation of the Avatars will be ingame.
The beta of the new 3dxChat Update is already running. For detail information you can take a look at the forum-blog. Very interesting is the update of the unity engine version 2017 to the 2021 engine. I guess it is needed cause a lot of new games will be released next year; social MMO`s like 3dxChat. I was checking the beta and the room-files will still be saved with “word”-file format. Hopefully there won’t be the need of transferring older rooms files to a new file-format – but it doesn't look like. Lots of new cloths, tattoo and new materials for the editor are included in this update. The Editor comes with an object counter, which is good to have in my mind and there will be the possibility to sell items ingame in your room. This are standard items which you can pick at the editor for your room and place it:
Buying a drink
Blowing bubbels
Lots of items you can choose at the editor and how I do understand it, you will get percentages of the selling of those items. Is this the first step for 3dx to go for paying content?
I guess it is and it is pretty normal for a social game.
For the builders are some new materials to use. I did like the “dirty glasses” and “washed glasses” fronts a lot. There will be an extra section now for “Glasses” at the Materials-Tabpage.
Right now there is no information when the new update will be released. Last year it was at Halloween. Lets hope for November.
There is a second new game comming. The Utherverse is a game which reminds me at the “Second Life” MMO; well, the concept of it. How I do understand you can create your own “universe” ingame and sell stuff. And guess what? Yes! It comes with the same engine like 3dxChat - the unity engine. If you do scroll down at the mainpage you will be able to see video`s of it. The Beta will/shall start September 2023 and the release is scheduled at the 1st quarter of 2024.
